Wow, I like angst. @.@ I drew this out of my head - don't think there's gonna be a fic for it anytime soon. But if anything bothered me in X-men Evolution, it's that the Brotherhood were left completely on their own. The X-Men were always there in the nick of time to rescue anyone *useful* who might need rescuing, but if a Brotherhood boy were say, attacked by the F.O.H., they were probably on their own. This is what I wished had happened in the show. A few X-men in civilian gear happen to come across a fight in which one of the Brotherhood are outnumbered, and go help him. Afterwards, they realize that they shouldn't just wait until the boys come crawling for aid, they should actually show the kids that they give a damn. The X-men are safe in their mansion, but all the B-hood have is that run-down Victorian house, their own powers, and a thin promise of protection from Magneto. If Xavier actually gave them another offer of friendship I think they'd take it. Especially after season 4, with the anti-mutant attitude going on.

Too bad the series ended way before that could happen. :/

EDIT: And I'm a baka for not clearing this up. But the shadows are supposed to be Logan/Wolverine fighting off the FOH for Toddy, and Kurt is about to port him out of there. ^^; I'm not good at shadows. Ehehe.

you're defintely right about that. although, i still don't think they'd live in the institute.
:icondendraica:
They probably wouldn't live in the institute. But dude, if Xavier would just maybe send some of his students or a construction team over to their house to put in security features and to fix the place up, it would be a major step in gaining their trust. It's not like he can't afford it, and it would be a good lesson of sorts for certain students-who-shall-not-be-named to get their heads out of their butts. They'd see how much they took for granted over at Xavier's and realize that there was an actual reason why the Brotherhood disliked them. ^^;

I completely agree with you on that count. The Brotherhood members were completely shafted. No matter what side they were on - and most of the time they didn't really do much for Magneto anyway - they were still mutants AND children. They were not "beyond saving" and if nothing else they should have been afforded the offer of protection, especially from the FOH. I wish they hadn't ended the show. >_<

Do you have any idea who I think I am?
:iconminako25:
you do like angst. I'd review - but you know.

Dork girl over here had to sit and ponder "F.O.H" for a moment too, thinking "Why does that sound familiar?" Duh.

It's so dark. I'm scared for them. And they're shinny brightly glowing eyes. Because the humans are coming - bastards.

Violence: if it isn't solving all your problems, you're not using enough of it.

This is a wonderful picture and you are right...I kinda felt the same way at the end of season four. I was like, "So...it's been four seasons and Xavier is a still a jerk. Poor Brotherhood...."

:iconmeltedpeep:
'Kay, so I should have something much more insightful to say here, because you're so right about the Brotherhood's mistreatment and Todd just looks so terrified and haunted...

But a small, horrible part of me is cracking up because those guys are carrying honest-to-god pitchforks.

You are a fantastic artist and I am a terrible person. XD
:icondendraica:
oog, I am a moron. ^^; That's supposed to be Logan's shadow fighting off the jerks. And his claw things. XD

Now that you mention it, they do look like pitchforks! XD

I sold Snoopy the crack that killed him!

And you do angst very well. Poor Todd, and good on Kurt and Logan for jumping in to help!
